Bursa'da günlük ortalama araç geçişinin İstanbul 15 Temmuz Şehitler Köprüsü'nden bile fazla olduğu Acemler Kavşağı'nın yükünü azaltmak için yaklaşık 3 ay önce Mudanya Kavşağı İzmir yolu bağlantı kolunu trafiğe açan Büyükşehir Belediyesi, şimdi de Acemler Kavşağı'nın Çevreyolu bağlantı koluna 2 şerit daha ilâve ediyor. Acemler Kavşağı'nda sürdürülen şerit genişletme çalışmalarını yerinde inceleyen Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Alinur Aktaş, düzenlemeler tamamlandığında kavşağın çile olmaktan çıkacağını, düzenli bir trafik akışına sahne olacağını söyledi.
