Kalp rahatsızlığı nedeniyle tedavi gördüğü hastanede geçtiğimiz gün 62 yaşında hayatını kaybeden Türk tiyatrosunun usta ismi Rasim Öztekin, son yolculuğuna uğurlanıyor. Öztekin'in Türk bayrağına sarılı ve üzerine Galatasaray bayrağı da konulan tabutu, önce mezun olduğu Galatasaray Lisesi'ne getirildi. Buradaki törenin ardından cenaze, Öztekin'in profesyonel tiyatro hayatına başladığı Ses Tiyatrosu önünde cenaze aracından indirildi. Tören mangası usta oyuncunun tabutuna omuz vererek, tiyatro sahnesine getirdi. Ailesi, sevenleri ve sanat camiasından çok sayıda kişi, usta oyuncu için son görevlerini yapmak üzere tiyatro salonuna geldi. Öztekin'in cenaze namazı Ses Tiyatrosu'ndaki törenin ardından Zincirlikuyu Camii'nde kılındı.
