İstanbul ile İzmir arasını 3,5 saate düşürecek ve 10 milyar dolarlık yatırımla Türkiye'nin en büyük projesi olan İstanbul-Bursa-İzmir otobanında sona gelindi. 29 Ekim'de açılması planlanan dev proje, çalışmaların beklenenden önce tamamlanmasıyla 4 Ağustos Pazar günü Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan tarafından açılacak. Ak Parti Bursa Milletvekili Mustafa Esgin, yapımı tamamlanan oto yolun Bursa etabını 1963 model klasik otomobil ile test etti. Sanat eseri görünümündeki dev proje gökyüzünden de drone ile görüntülendi.
