Description

Bursa'nın İznik ilçesinde SİT alanı ilan edildikten sonra 2018 yılında Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından 1 milyon 50 bin liraya kamulaştırılan zeytinlik alanda bir süredir kazı çalışması yapan arkeologlar tarihe ışık tutacak yeni bir bazilika keşfetti. Zeytin tarlasında onlarca mezardan oluşan 2 bin 200 yıllık lahitler ve 1500 yıllık olduğu düşünülen bazilika bulundu. Definecilerin bölgeyi 1989 yılından bu yana talan ettiği de ortaya çıktı.
